Part of me doesn't want to finish the border. Just thinking of all the backstitching I'll have to do makes my head spin. But at least it's a step closer to being finished when I get to that point :)
It's just gorgeous! Can you start backstitching now, and alternate between that and the stitching so you don't have it all to do at the end? That's what I do on projects like this. Either way, it's going to be fabulous when it's finished!

You made great progress and that design is gorgeous. Funny, I never mind the back-stitching because I always think it makes the design come alive.
