Christmas Bluebird

Hello friends,

this time I pulled out one of the projects that I started back in January for Debbie's Ultimate Crazy Challenge. It's a little bird and I left it here.

There were all the leaves that had to be stitched and I thought: No problem that will be done quickly. But it took me nearly the whole weekend. This morning I put in the last of the backstitches and it's done now. And I love it.

Adorable!!! Do you have plans on how you'll 'finish' it?

Cute cute cute! It's surprising how long a small area can take to stitch isn't it? Lovely finish and well worth all your hard work.

Oh, this is so very sweet and I am so glad that FF inspired you to finish such a lovely design.

Oh, I love this so much. Anything that is a mix of birds and berries is always a win in my book. And I totally understand about thinking something will be done in no time and then it takes *much* longer than I thought. Just yesterday I had the goal of finishing the first page of my HAED, thinking I could get the little corner done in about 2 hours. Well, 5-6 hours later, it was finally done!

I always have that problem.... always under-estimate how long it is going to take to stitch something!!
Well done on a beautiful finish and brilliant that you have knocked over another Jan start from the list!!
