An old WIP revived again

Hello friends,

last Friday I pulled out my America Sampler again and stitched a new state, New York, featuring a basket with apples.

These little designs are perfect for the Friday Frolics as I can finish one in a day. And even stitch on something else, too. So maybe I'll pull it out again this week.

What a great idea, a State a week. You'd see it finished in a year!

Hi Brigitte, Looking good, I have been trying to pull mine out ever since we got back mid-Jan - for the Americana SAL but it is yet to see the light of day in 2016!

You finished my state! What a great idea to get that WIP finished. That is a pretty pattern.

I've never seen that one before. It's lovely! I like Jo's suggestion if one state a week!

That's adorable. I wonder what the motif was used for the state of Alabama. Pecans?! Azaleas? Lol

You'll have to show us the whole project once it's completed later this year :)

A very pretty sampler Brigitte! And, as you say, just right for Friday night stitching!
Look forward to seeing your progress.
