Frolicking fun!

Hi everyone

What a fun blog!  For our first Frolicking Friday (and Kaye's second?!) I pulled out an old WIP that was my first Crazy January Challenge start in 2014.  Here's how it looked when I last photographed it...

I had stitched a little on it since then, but here is how it looks after a marathon stitching session last night!

Riverdrift House Family Sampler

I really love this design but I put it aside as it's on 14 count aida which is very stiff.  Looking at the photo above now though makes me realise how much I like it and want to finish it!

I know we're only supposed to frolic on Fridays but I would really like to continue with this one over the weekend!

I'm really looking forward to seeing what everyone else worked on.

Thanks Kaye for being a super SAL host.

Mm, Aida, do so agree, but yes, onward and upwards, Justine!

Hi Justine,
Just remember the rules are loose, if you want to keep frolicking over the weekend - go for it! Wonderful progress on a lovely piece - in just one night! Way to go, girl!

Oh my, Justine, your needles must have been smoking after that night of stitching. Your piece looks great after all that progress. I also continued stitching on my FF piece until it was finished. It was so much fun that I couldn't put it back into the box :)

Thanks Kaye - I found something else to stitch on but it's given me some enthusiasm for picking it up again in the near future!

That's great Brigitte! One less to frolic with means one more new start.

Thanks Noni - it's back in the UFO pile for now but it may come out again to play soon!
